Digital & Unit Marketing Specialist
Role purpose:
To market units through digital and conventional marketing activities, driving lead generation and response, identifying marketing successes and planning marketing initiatives.

Activities
Marketing Planning and Implementation
- To develop the digital and conventional marketing plan by understanding the market and business requirements and developing a conventional and digital response that supports the brand and customer experience requirements annually
- To implement the digital and conventional marketing plan by identifying the potential tools, securing the correct technology and project managing the implementation of the solutions including all social media and web platforms as required
- To manage the effectiveness of the digital and conventional marketing plan by identifying and implementing the appropriate business intelligence tools, developing the measurement metrics and dashboards and monitoring, interpreting the trends and implementing corrective action as required
Website Vacancy Administration
- To update unit availability information by receiving and listing information for updating on the website
- To maintain unit availability on the website by reviewing units available, identifying changes that are needed, making changes and uploading new units, removing occupied units and changing information weekly and as required.
- To manage the SEO service provider by appointing and managing the service provider, improve rankings and ensure that the JHC is ranked at the top as required.
- To maintain the functionality of the website by liaising with the SP and provide them with information on changes to be made on the website, check that the information given to SP is incorporated and accurate, and ensure the website is up to date as required.
Digital Marketing Portal and Lead Response Handling
- To monitor accuracy of portal listings of vacant units by reviewing the listings, confirming the accuracy of information, identifying areas that require correction and providing feedback weekly and as required.
- To respond to all incoming social media vacancy enquiries by receiving enquiries, engaging with the prospective tenant, providing information, and share contacts with CX consultants daily.
- To generate and confirm platform leads captured by comparing leads on platform reports with leads registered on digital systems, identifying anomalies and providing feedback for corrective action weekly and as required.
- To develop digital content for JHC and MaM by designing the digitisation of the content, upload and update content on all digital platforms regularly as required.
- To manage digital platforms by monitoring representation of the brand (JHC and MaM) across all platforms, maintaining brand consistency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action monthly and as required.
Vacancy Management
- To manage vacancy levels and the reduction thereof by developing marketing materials and any other marketing collateral, contributing towards the implementation of marketing and promotion activities, activations and vacancy drives, tracking, and analysing the impact and lead generation and implement corrective action to address vacancy levels and market JHC properties monthly and as required.
Financial Management
- To develop operational budgets by identifying costs and revenues based on strategic plans and programme requirements and drafting budgets in line with the financial parameters annually.
- To manage budgets by reviewing expenditure and revenue progress against targets, identify anomalies and implement corrective action monthly.
Reporting
- To report on digital and marketing output by monitoring performance, receiving, analysing and interpreting information and drafting reports with recommendations monthly and as required
- To draft adhoc reports by gathering information, analysing and interpreting information and drafting reports as required
- To constantly review the digital and marketing performance and provide input to business on corrective actions as required.
- Reporting on the performance of the SEO and any recommendations for improvement.
Role requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
- NQF 7 in a digital and marketing related qualification is required
- A minimum of 6 years digital and or marketing experience is required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 3 years CRM experience is required
- Social media management experience is required
- Experience in SEO management is required
- 5 years' experience in management engagement is required
- Experience in the property industry is preferred
