San Martin

San Martin was JHC's first purchase.

It was purchased because it was a well maintained building, home to a stable community, with an excellent property management system in place. San Martin was the first in-situ conversion from communal water and electricity supply to individual geysers in each unit, with separately metered water and electricity supply. This improved the reliability and convenience of supply of heated water to individual units. It also allowed for more accurate and equitable allocation of water and electricity costs on the basis of actual rather than estimated consumption.
